Christina Ognenoff, CPDT-KA has been working at Humane Fort Wayne as a dog trainer since 2022.  She has been volunteering with HFW for over 17 years, working with dogs, fundraising projects, adoption events and with Pet Promises.  Her dog, Ruby (preadoption name Honor), inspired her to continue learning about dog training.  They achieved the Canine Good Citizenship Certificate and were a Certified Therapy Dog team through Alliance of Therapy Dogs from 2014 until Ruby retired in 2021 to relax in her golden years.  “There’s something amazing about making that connection with your dog and then being able to share that with others.”
